El Camino de Miguel

August 10 août – 19 km and 26,000 steps

(publié le 11 août parce qu’il n’y avait pas d’internet où on était hier…) Aujourd’hui la randonnée a été un peu plus facile. Finalement pas de pluie et un temps un peu plus frais.  On a vu de superbes paysages, des vues magnifiques. Il y a eu aussi beaucoup de sentiers rocailleux étroits dans les bois collés à des fils barbelés. Ce soir on dort au même endroit qu’hier (on fait la navette en auto) et demain on part définitivement. On marche souvent avec deux dames allemandes très sympathiques. On n’a fait qu’un arrêt à Saint-Privat-d’Allier pour prendre un café et manger un peu. En fin de randonnée on s’est récompensés avec une bonne glace ou une bonne bière!

(published on August 11 because there was no internet where we were yesterday…) Today the hike was a little easier. Fortunately the weather forecast was wrong: no rain and a little cooler than yesterday! We saw some beautiful scenery. There were also lots of narrow rocky paths in the woods, surrounded by barbed wire. This evening we will sleep at the same place as yesterday (Jacqueline and Philippe pick us up by car), and tomorrow we leave for good. We often walk with two nice German ladies. We only stopped once today at Saint-Privat-d’Allier to have a coffee and eat a bite. At the end of the hike we felt we deserved ice cream or a beer!
